How We Review: Our Method for Describing Operators
This page exists so that nobody has to take PHPWIN on trust. PHPWIN is an independent guide, not a casino: no deposits are taken here, no games run here and no payouts are made. What the site does is read, compare and describe, mostly on the subject of payments. Below is how that reading is done. For readers aged 21+.
Starting point: payments first
This site writes mainly about how money moves: e-wallets, InstaPay, PESONet and bank transfer. So the method leans that way. Each criterion below is a question asked of an operator's public pages, and the answer is reported as found. Nothing is converted into a score, and operators are not placed in any order.
The seven questions
- Licence disclosure. Does the site state which company holds the licence and which regulator issued it, in a form you can look up?
- Payment rails. Which deposit and withdrawal channels are offered, and does the money go to a named business account?
- Terms clarity. Are withdrawal conditions, limits and bonus rules readable before you register?
- KYC rules. When is identity verification required, and is it done through an upload page on the operator's domain?
- Complaint route. Is there a written process and somewhere to go if support does not resolve it?
- Responsible-gaming tools. Can you set deposit limits, take a break or self-exclude from inside the account?
- Support and app distribution. Are contact channels listed on the site itself, and is any app delivered without shared files or mirror lists?
Where each answer comes from
| Question | Source used | Limit of that source |
|---|---|---|
| Licence disclosure | The operator's footer and terms, checked against the regulator's published list | A list shows status on the day of checking only |
| Payment rails | The public cashier or payments help page | Channels can be added or removed without notice |
| Terms clarity | Terms and bonus pages as published | Wording can change after a page here was written |
| KYC rules | Help-centre and terms text | Actual practice in an individual case is not visible |
| Complaint route | Terms and contact pages | Whether complaints are handled well cannot be seen from outside |
| Responsible-gaming tools | Published responsible-gaming page | Tools may differ once logged in |
| Support and app distribution | Contact page and any app instructions | No installer is downloaded or run as part of this reading |
What is left out on purpose
You will not find payout times, fee amounts, minimum deposits or bonus sizes stated here as facts about a particular operator. Those are set by the operator and belong on its cashier page. General facts about public payment rails are included because they apply to everyone: InstaPay transfers are real-time and capped per transaction, while PESONet transfers settle in batches on banking days.
Independence and partner links
Wording is not for sale. No operator can pay to improve how it is described or to have a warning taken down. Some links leaving this site may be partner links, meaning a commission may be earned if you register through one. A partner link does not alter the seven questions or their answers.
If you spot an error
Pages are dated. If a description no longer matches what an operator publishes, the page should be corrected, and the modified date will show when that happened. Always confirm on the operator's own site before sending money, and stop if the licensed company cannot be identified.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there ratings on this site?
No. Operators are described against the seven questions, without scores or rankings.
Does PHPWIN earn from links?
Some links may be partner links. This does not change what is written.
Why don't you publish withdrawal times?
Because they are set by each operator and change. The cashier page is the source to trust.
Is PHPWIN an operator?
No. It is an independent guide with no cashier and no games.
